News Release: Volkswagen-backed PowerCo SE reaches significant milestone in St. Thomas gigafactory project

• ​PowerCo COO Sebastian Wolf: “Site preparation, the first phase of Gigafactory St. Thomas, has been completed. We are now ready for the next stage on our path to the sustainable and responsible production of battery cells.”
• North American entity of Volkswagen Group’s battery company will be named PowerCo Canada Inc., headquartered in St. Thomas, Ontario
• Current activities include setting up local office in downtown St. Thomas, continuing local hiring and signing first servicing agreements with local providers
