At one point or another, many of us have looked at an excavator or other piece of heavy equipment and thought about climbing in and getting to work. Whether it's a nostalgic holdover from our sandbox days or the sense of scale that heavy equipment provides - something is fulfilling about it
Join us this week as Mike tests that theory and learns about the role that excavators and their operators play on a site like ours with our special guest - Richard!
Mike's on site with a special guest today! Jeremy is one of the Heavy Equipment Operators (Dozer) on site and he's giving us the low down on how this piece of equipment works and what it's purpose is on a site like this one.
This video also features some incredible views of the work currently underway on the mega site!
We're Electrifying! But How? In this week's video, we are sharing an overview of how electricity in Ontario is generated and what that means for the future of the grid and what about our power generation makes Ontario a great choice for this new facility!
A strategic plan is essential for cities to set a clear vision, make informed decisions, allocate resources effectively, engage the community, adapt to changing circumstances, and ultimately improve the quality of life for their residents while fostering sustainable growth and development.
The City of St. Thomas is undertaking a refresh of its Strategic Plan, and we want your feedback to help shape the future of our community!
The Strategic Plan serves as a guiding document that aligns the goals, strategies, and vision of Council with those of the community. As a guiding document, the plan reflects the needs and expectations of the community in the planning and allocation of resources to programs and services delivered by the City.
