A strategic plan is essential for cities to set a clear vision, make informed decisions, allocate resources effectively, engage the community, adapt to changing circumstances, and ultimately improve the quality of life for their residents while fostering sustainable growth and development.
The City of St. Thomas is undertaking a refresh of its Strategic Plan, and we want your feedback to help shape the future of our community! The Strategic Plan serves as a guiding document that aligns the goals, strategies, and vision of Council with those of the community. As a guiding document, the plan reflects the needs and expectations of the community in the planning and allocation of resources to programs and services delivered by the City.
