From the Beehive: Highbury Preview

This week, Mike will take you on a drive through the future! Check out what the upcoming changes to Highbury Ave within the City Limits will look like! Take in the preview of the included new roundabouts that will support the movement of traffic; we know folks have some strong feelings about roundabouts, but there are some good reasons they are included here and in the Megasite Plan: Check them out here.

This rendered preview also highlights the art pieces that are included in the project: Metal Mind Forge's dandelion titled 'Thriving' which “captures the essence of resilience, growth, and optimism expressed through the lifecycle of a dandelion sprouting from a pile of old railway spikes,” and Shift Landscape Architecture's art piece entitled Fading Memories “that recalls the traditional barn as an object from the area that is seemingly disappearing from the landscape and from the memories of those who spent time around these structures.”
