This is a very exciting episode exploring the site plan for the proposed industrial subdivision! In this episode, Mike explores the site plan and highlights some of the incredible features designed to facilitate effective operations within the subdivision - from electrical needs to rail access, roadways & roundabouts.
Catch the Jumbo reference? An interesting fact we learned is that elephants drink anywhere from 68-98 litres per day - had Jumbo lived a much longer life, far exceeding any reasonable lifespan for an Elephant - he still could not have consumed remotely close to 55 mega litres if was still alive today. If you are new to Jumbo's Story, you can learn more here.

Highbury is a great road to widen, but London owns most of it, between St Thomas and 401. Is London going to widden it as well? As this will be a way for a lot of transportation between 401 and the new plant, coming from the East.

Widening Highbury North of the City limits to London is not part of this project. Highway 3 from Centennial Ave to Highway 4, an existing provincial highway, is being considered to be widened to 4 lanes and a new bypass constructed around Talbotville. Refer to https://highway3elgin.ca/index.html for details on this project.

It needs to be addressed, as this is a very busy road now, and with Workers coming from East London-Woodstock way that is the way they will be coming in. Not from the west. This should be addressed, also Transportation to London is coming from every other City including Sarnia, Strathroy, Ingersol, Woodstock, Komoka, Ilderton, Grandbend, but there is no transportation coming from St Thomas to London, as well.

David Winter it may need to be addressed but you have to go through the appropriate levels of government to address it. This is all outside the St. Thomas wheelhouse. You have to address it with other groups/politicians.
