🎄 The Holidays Begin in St. Thomas! | Light Up Talbot & Horton Christmas Market Preview
Mike from St. Thomas Economic Development is joined at a very festive Horton Farmers' Market by EDC team members Sarah Lynch, Downtown Development & Engagement Officer and Monique Clark, Horton Farmers' Market Coordinator, to talk about two of the city's most significant holiday events, coming this weekend! ✨ Light Up Talbot — Friday, November 14 from 5–9 p.m. Downtown St. Thomas comes alive with twinkling lights, late-night shopping, live performances, horse-and-carriage rides, surprise circus acts, and of course 🎅 Santa himself is arriving at 5:45 p.m.! The official tree-lighting ceremony kicks off Christmas in St. Thomas at 6 p.m., generously sponsored by Doug Tarry Homes. Grab all the details and join the Gooschase for incredible prizes, or join the event on Facebook for updates. 🎁 Horton Christmas Market — Saturday, November 15 from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. With over 110 vendors, live local music, roasted chestnuts, chalk art, festive food and drink, and Santa back at 1:30 p.m. for family photos — this is the biggest market of the year! Parking is available across the street in Van Pelt's (PowerCo) overflow lot courtesy of Doug Tarry Homes — please avoid Food Basics and Bulk Barn parking. The vendor list and map will be released on the Horton Farmers' Market socials on Thursday and in their Newsletter on Friday. Subscribe to get the newsletter delivered to your inbox or grab a preview in the Facebook Event. 💬 Whether you're shopping for handmade gifts, enjoying the entertainment, or soaking up the small-town holiday magic, these back-to-back events are the perfect way to start the season in #StThomasProud style.
