From the Beehive E 47 - The Patrick Hat Trick Highbury Update

Now that the ground has warmed up, there is a lot going on at the Mega Site. While rain has caused a slight change in our filming schedule, we still have some amazing updates for you today!

​The big news for commuters through the Highbury corridor is that things are moving along with three key updates - The Patrick Hat Trick - to share.

🔧 Current Projects:

• BlueCon Construction is diligently working on a storm sewer starting at the center of South Edgeware, ensuring a dry area throughout the construction process.
• Amico is making excellent progress on the first phase of earthworks for the rail spur installation, with soil stripped to the rail yard. Soon, a large pile machine will arrive to install the piles for the rail bridge.
  

🛠️Highbury Ave construction: Patrick Anckaert, P. Eng Senior Project Manager, Industrial Development from the City of St. Thomas engineering team, provides updates on the Highbury project:

• Utilities (Hydro and Fiber Internet) installed up to Ron McNeill line.
  
• Highbury Ave extension roughed in south of South Edgeware, including the MTO section of Highway 3 and Centennial.
  
• Topsoil stripped at Highbury and South Edgeware for the roundabout installation, commencing soon.
