In this update from the Mayor's office, we highlight the incredible progress made on the Tiny Hope Project, a community-driven initiative in the heart of St. Thomas! Thanks to the amazing collaboration between the YWCA, Doug Tarry Homes, Sanctuary Homes, and countless local builders and contributors, eight NetZero Ready tiny homes are now complete. What started as a foundation just two days prior has turned into a beautiful neighbourhood, showcasing the power of community involvement. It's been a true team effort, from skilled builders to volunteers handling supplies and logistics. Special shoutouts to MP Custom Homes, Doug Tarry Homes, Collier Homes, Wynmar, Wastell Homes, Woodfield, DHP Homes, and many more who contributed their expertise in siding, flooring, kitchens, and more. This project is not just about housing—it's about building a future for our city and addressing the housing crisis in St. Thomas.
