Then, mark your calendars for the Horton Farmers' Market's last day of the regular season on November 2nd, followed by the festive Christmas Market on November 16th. Shop from 92 local growers and handmade vendors, and enjoy delicious food while you shop! Horton Farmers' Market Hours: Regular season - Saturdays until Nov 2 from 8am-Noon Christmas Market - Saturday Nov. 16 from 10am-4pm Winter at Horton - Saturdays from Nov 23- April 26 from 9am-1pm On November 15th, come downtown for Light Up Talbot between 5-9pm for a magical evening featuring tree lighting, horse-drawn carriage rides, warming stations, and more holiday cheer! In this update from the Mayor's office, we highlight the incredible progress made on the Tiny Hope Project, a community-driven initiative in the heart of St. Thomas! Thanks to the amazing collaboration between the YWCA, Doug Tarry Homes, Sanctuary Homes, and countless local builders and contributors, eight NetZero Ready tiny homes are now complete. What started as a foundation just two days prior has turned into a beautiful neighbourhood, showcasing the power of community involvement. It's been a true team effort, from skilled builders to volunteers handling supplies and logistics. Special shoutouts to MP Custom Homes, Doug Tarry Homes, Collier Homes, Wynmar, Wastell Homes, Woodfield, DHP Homes, and many more who contributed their expertise in siding, flooring, kitchens, and more. This project is not just about housing—it's about building a future for our city and addressing the housing crisis in St. Thomas. We're excited to see this incredible community continue to take shape, and we can't wait for residents to call these homes theirs. |
